There's no way I can love everybody. But I can respect everyone whether I love them or not (I won't engage with extremists tho). She/Her.
Cultures are different, we need to mind our own business, except for things that matter. For things that don't hurt anyone, mind your own business, why do you feel the need to tell someone of a different culture to find a fork? What about pizza, burgers, tacos? Do you eat those with forks? My 🪙🪙

Too bad they don't have tours anymore, I would have liked to see the vertical launch area, even if not in use. When I used to be interested in space flight, the years gone by, Virgin and before that NASA.

Today I saw a video of someone teaching Spanish pronunciation to sound native. And I was like: "when do we use that?" Then my brain kicked in and said this is not for you, she's from another Spanish speaking country, and scrolled down, instead of commenting. Not everything is for us and that's ok.

We kinda forgot about the shutdown affecting national parks so the main ruins weren't open. We still got to see Kin Klizhin which was pretty cool and got to meet three other adventurers doing the off-road thing as well. Another adventure in my new home, NM.

In Mexico we are very family oriented, my cousins' children are my nephews and nieces and I'm their auntie, and I love them, obviously I'm closer to some more than others but that's basically geography and cousin's relationship related. Anyway, every culture is different...

Sometimes, pruning the family tree is necessary, do not let anyone guilt you into "but, it's your family."

Yesterday I went to try sotol for the first time, apparently it's an agave drink from Chihuahua, I love tequila but I think sotol is smoother, even if it smells exactly like tequila. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by this distillery with a nice desert view.

Staying informed keeps getting harder and harder if one wants to keep a calm mind, I'm becoming a defeatist.

"If you can't be kind at least be vague."
That's definitely one of my mottos.

If something doesn't affect me, I don't usually care, but for injustices, e.g. a judge giving second chances to rapists with "bright futures"; however, how do you live your life? Who do you love? What does your body look like? What brand do you buy? What religion do you practice?... I don't care.

I have a question, to the void I guess. What's the obsession with straight hair? I was watching a video of this lawyer content creator who has beautiful curly hair, she straightened it in this video and all the comments are about how pretty her hair looks and her as well and not her content at all.

Same in my day, the good old days, hey I still do that 😁
Back in my day a bunch of us used to just show up at a friend's place and shoot the shit all night it cost like whatever a six pack and a bag of Doritos was at the time

I'm not in a position to post lots of things; however, when I read "news," I try to pause and analyze how it's triggering me, is it an emotional response or a mindful one? So instead of sharing (with friends) I pause again and do more digging because I don't want to share disinformation, my 🪙🪙 bc AI

I remember thinking: "wow, a computer in our hands;" sadly, now I wonder how media literacy is so hard for most people. As an example, I started working out when I was 40 because I saw first hand what a sedentary life does to 60 years old, and I don't want that if I can help it. I followed a bunch

I was missing this staple appetizer from my favorite seafood restaurant, so I decided to give it a try, even when I don't know how to make the sauce, they were still very tasty by themselves, I'll give myself a pat on the shoulder for my "toritos."

Today I read: "you cannot talk butterfly language with caterpillars," I've been struggling lately trying to communicate with my loved ones, maybe I cannot really communicate with them and maybe I need to accept it.

How do you do it? How do you have the energy to fight for what is just all the time? I'm exhausted and my timeline and my country aren't that bad, how do the people that have it worse than me have the will? Today I'm beaten, hopefully tomorrow I'll rise again.

I had a kinda hopeful day, today and with all the bleakness lately, I'm just hoping more people had my kinda day, if it wasn't today, I hope it is tomorrow.

To the moms that are happy to celebrate, happy mother's day! To the moms and women whose day is a bit bittersweet, I hope you have honed your coping skills, I'm thinking of you.

Today is English and Spanish languages' day, and tho my dream of being a polyglot like Philip Crowther won't ever come true, I like being able to speak these two languages. They allow me to communicate in either when traveling which I seriously love.
