Professor Amrita Daftary's former PhD student, Dr Stephanie Law, is lead author on this study. The research was integrated into the @who.int Framework for Collaborative Action on Tuberculosis and Comorbidities.

The study’s lead author, Dr. Ahmad Firas Khalid, led the WHA SIM during his time as a Sessional Assistant Professor in the School of Global Health. Now a Senior Policy Analyst with the Government of Canada, his foundational work continues to shape this innovative experiential education initiative.

This study was the formal evaluation of our innovative World Health Assembly Simulation (WHA SIM) co-curricular activity, which has now been turned into a course: World Health Assembly Simulation (GH 4220).
