Spent most of the day trying to get some sound out of this HardSID4u using my MacBook M1. Finally got it to work by emulating Windows XP using UTM, but it was worth it, sounds so much better than any SID emulation! #commodore64

Little #retrocomputing fact: The floppy disk (first picture) was superseded by the harddisk (second picture). One of the reasons for this was to make it look more like the ‘save’ icon to prevent mistakes. One of the drawbacks was that the harddisk made it harder to staple disks together.
