I was honored this weekend with becoming a member of the Order of the Dragon's Heart in the SCA Kingdom of the Middle.
This is a Grant Level Award for Service.
I was not expecting this and am still slightly in shock.

Trust the locals to know the best places to eat.
Managed to have Turkish food when I was up in Michigan and the restaurant not only had some AMAZING Chocolate Baklava... they would sell you a box you could take home.
Now I get to spoil myself for a little while at least at home.

It's a 13th Century Honey pudding with Almonds, Saffron, Rosewater, Wheat Starch, Water and Olive Oil.
I'll also be making a pulled sugar taffy to use as a garnish as per the recipe.
