Star Award: Margaret Banas 🌟

After a 12-hour night shift, Margaret stayed over an hour to comfort and translate for a distressed patient in Resus. Speaking Polish, she explained treatment and offered reassurance, helping the patient feel safe and supported during a frightening time 💙

Star Award: Joanne Gill and Saffron Snowden 🌟

Joanne and Saffron went above and beyond to support a patient with hearing loss who was struggling to use their insulin pump. Their innovative approach and clear communication increased his confidence, helped his diabetes, and transformed his wellbeing.

A new stroke art group has launched on Waters Ward at Bridlington Hospital 🎨

Run by occupational therapy team members, it helps patients express their recovery journey while boosting motor skills, cognition, and wellbeing.

The Reporting Team worked under pressure to submit vital data for Elective Recovery Funding. Their teamwork and commitment could bring in extra NHS funding to reduce waiting times and improve care for patients across our hospitals.
