I do vaccine development with a focus on precision vaccinology! My background is immunoglobulin genetics and population diversity. I also like to advocate for science and do things with my community :)

But, tumultuous. The pre-print does not state a conflict of interest. You as an author are responsible for this. Is there no conflict of interest?
Who are the independent authors Danice Hertz and Brianne Dressen? You thought people would not recognise these names? They are from React19.

The issue isn’t the subject; studies matter. But this one is flawed: with haphazard cohorts, too small, and finding nothing. CoI should be declared, and some of the authors fuel "misunderstandings" by making up conclusions and misusing the preprint. This isn’t good science.

Vaccine safety researchers know you have to follow the science, regardless of whether it exonerates or implicates a vaccine in a suspected side effect. They also know their work may be weaponized & misconstrued by people trying to undermine vaccine confidence. www.statnews.com/2025/02/24/p...

I'm still trying to get my head around this figure from the "PVS" pre-print.

@kypaa.bsky.social I hear you're good at two things, being a good artist on making things and being a brilliant man who's good at a lot more than two things.
