We are on Native land. They/Them. Cat lover. Crafter. Folk and courtly dancer. Navigating ADHD. Disabled. Pursuing a Bachelor’s of Social Work. House witch. Mostly an indoor cat.
I frogged a cuff I didn’t need to, but I’m kind of glad I did & now I’m thinking about frogging & redoing the other one too, but only after I finish repairing Skelly’s Santa Claus belt. Skelly is my partner’s 12 ft tall skeleton. We did not have the right glue for the Velcro to stay put on vinyl. 🧶🪡

The capelet, modeled by its new owner. A green variegated wool worked with a 4.0 mm hook in pineapple stitches, single and double crochets, cells, triangles, and a leaf panel. The fasteners are also crocheted, and there is only one start and end for the piece.

Not quite patiently waiting for permission from the parent of the kid I gave the capelet to in order to post pictures of the final product, but hey - it’s done! Now I’ve started crocheting convertible fingerless gloves/mittens in the same yarn, plus lovely brown hand spun alpaca I picked up at MNRF.
