To the extent that's true I'd certainly rather be connected with the small number of people in touch with the real world, and whether here online or in person we can have a real conversation rather than the tiny space for text here especially as a one off comment.

This is just a short clip, he talks about AI more than the internet in the full 20 minute podcast. I don't think any real meaningful discussion can be had if we go by the teasers alone.

An addition to the distinction between the celebrity and the hero from Daniel Boorstins work from The Image in my mind. Basically the hero being self made on a collective level rather than an individual one.

Are you familiar with Eva Bergers work around context blindness? Beyond holding all involved accountable is the fact that some elements are not personal in nature. I suspect many will completely disregard that, not to mention their sense making may be suffering from what Baudrillard has pointed to.

Imagine then a reader who might consider that they never change their mind along with this thought. "But I'm always right" probably sits somewhere in that thinking process.
