All-Star appearances matter a lot to players, not just in that they are being recognized by the league but also regarding their future contract negotiations. Sanchez wouldn’t have pitched in the game, but he deserves the accolade and should have been named to the team & replaced (like Chris Sale)

Just not a good team. Dombrowski has had at least 2 offseasons plus 2 deadlines to fix the outfield and the lineup depth and he has showed absolutely no urgency to do so

really, really bizarre decision to downgrade that to a minor penalty. Blindside hit with a clear intent to injure, shouldn’t really matter if he got lucky and missed Hathaway’s head with the initial contact

By the time he released from his block, 92 was already through the line and in Jalen’s face. If he tried to get it to Dallas and turned it over, it would’ve been 10x worse. I’m putting all the blame there on Moore for the playcall and the OL for the blocking
