We’re dogsitting this weekend and I’ve got a soccer snuggle buddy again, and it’s making me feel all sorts of emotions

this got me thinking about the Mount Rushmore of Jews playing Italians, and this is what I came up with

One last one, if you’ll indulge me- the thing that makes the house feel emptiest since he died is how quiet it is. Toby was very vocal- he would bark, sure, but it was mostly his vocalizing for attention or to beg for food or a walk or to play that I miss the most

Watching weekend morning soccer this weekend has been particularly difficult, since Toby’s favorite spot was snuggled up between my leg and the couch cushion, and he loved napping with me when I got up early to watch soccer on the weekends

As a mixed breed rescue, he also had the best underbite and made the funniest faces

We still have no idea of his breed, but he was definitely some sort of terrier mix- whatever he was, he was absolutely gorgeous

I just made the switch from the hellsite, so I don’t have any followers here yet, but I need to scream into the void for a minute anyway. My dog Toby died the other day- he was just 4 years old- so I’m gonna share a thread of my favorite pics and videos of him (cc: @darthbluesky.bsky.social)
