Me at happy hour as Julie Andrews from Victor Victoria next to that lady as I eat my tiny, pathetic half price appetizer and glass of water.

How do you know you sat next to a rich at Pappadeaux happy hour? They bought a full price $35 salad (before tax and tip,) ate half of it, and left without even taking the rest home in a box.

Merry Christmas Eve!
I know it's a little late but here is my union's website for buying gifts from union companies. Not just now, but all year round you can use it to buy union products.
Also, you'll notice it has Bluesky FIRST in the social media share bar. Not buried in a drop down "other" list.

I almost got rear ended taking this picture for you @milesklee.bsky.social. So much dumb water. So big.

Just end already 2025.

We have this new app at work that gives us a sort of Spotify Wrapped of how much we flew this year. I looked at it...and I'm tired from just looking at it.

Too bad the world's going to hell and we don't have time to celebrate the little things. Like that we're in the microwave golden age now. No need to vent or poke holes anymore!

Easy rule of thumb:
If someone calls themselves a movie nerd simply bring up Denis Lawson. If they identify him as Wedge Antilles in Star Wars & not as Gordon, the cool Scottish hotel owner Peter Riegert wants to switch lives with in Local Hero, you are with the wrong kind of movie nerd.
Easy peasy.

The Mod pizza app is very good right now if you miss pizza, b/c it's so damn expensive anywhere now.
$9 UNLIMITED topping 11 inch.
Tons of topping choices. We got extra anchovies.
Crust is a little thinner than I like, but it was good. Enough for 2 to 3 people. And they give you a free little cake.

Rereading some of Napoleon's letters to Josephine. The history of the world is truly made of narcissistic, stupid, childish, horny, did I mention stupid? men.

This is my most rewatched video post of 2025 by far. It's so soothing to me for some reason. I hope 2026 brings more Cowboy the dog videos.

I've also been watching this account over on YouTube. Who doesn't want to watch a huge, northern European Maine Coon cat who likes to forage for berries?

I get to my hotel room after a grueling day in the plane, flop down on the bed, and this is on TCM. Now I am in a state of heavenly bliss. Still so goddamn funny.

I'm on a Houston layover. They pick one flight attendant a day at this hotel to give access to the private Marriott Bonvoy Elite lounge. Free food & drinks all day. You open your key holder & if it's you it says "Crew of the day." Today that flight attendant is YOUR GIRL. I'm so happy right now.

Here you go. You're allowed to use each coupon 3 times, so be sure they give it back to you if you'll use it again.

I've been missing The Iron Sheik from back in the day on Twitter lately. I hope God, the biggest jambroni of all, is treating him well in heaven.

It's times like these you remember why Kim Guilfoyle was MARRIED to Gavin Newsom for SIX YEARS before moving on to Donald Trump Jr. etc.

AGAIN, as I've said many times to you, all I've ever needed to know about Gavin Newsom is he was MARRIED to Kim Guilfoyle, until SHE left him for another guy.

Something about the holiday season this year is making me miss TVs with tubes. These flat screens have no soul. I would love to watch A Christmas Story on my grandmother's old TV. I wish I'd saved it when she passed away. She also introduced me to the movies of the 40s & 50s and Carol Burnett on it.

I do admit though, even us single working gals with no Costco membership walk in through the exit undetected and go straight to the unprotected food court to get our $1.50 hotdog and soda on. Shhh....

"Maybe death will give me the life I've always wanted." Lol. Really enjoyed the new Simpsons episode tonight.

Damn. Goodbye to the master.

I posted a lot more than usual today and then I saw this and it made me feel tawdry AF.

There's a man on ABC News saying AI can be a very useful tool to help you maximize your time and experience Black Friday shopping. He is smiling, excited and wearing oversized "statement" glasses.

HBD Robert Towne. I rewatched Chinatown recently. I'm still always struck by a new facet. This time the Jake advising the fake Mrs. Mulwray 'sometimes it's better not to know' scene. Jake's curiosity about anyone but himself makes nothing he knows real. A blind mark who thinks he can see everything.
