Lifelong Angels fan and recent Chicago Bears Fan.

Wishing for better days in anaheim and Chicago but loyal to both.

Big movie/tv guy!
In my honest opinion, this feels like forced hate coming from MLB because we did not trade Ohtani.

Minor league system better than ours? One dude?

I get it the angels have been very bad at developing players and we would be higher if we did not rush everybody up. But this feels like a very biased ranking and forced hate.

It was definitely a blessing… Tera’s annual contract price can pay for probably a few players… Angels have too many holes to spend that much on one player

That actually turned into a blessing in disguise, Zach Neto had a breakout season last year posting a 5 WAR!

Sadly, Moreno will always be willing to hand a massive contract for a big bat.

Puts people in seats and sells jerseys, I HOPE after Rendon is let go (it will happen sooner rather than later), he never offers a guy in his 30s a massive contract more than 4+ years.

The team needs to steer away from guys that can’t throw strikes or even get through 5 innings consistently.

Canning has good offspeed pitched but his fastball is very below average and for whatever reason cannot throw for a strike consistently.

He was part of the problem with the pen being taxed.

Since they want to compete, Jack Flaherty, and Corbin Burnes are still available. At some point Moreno needs to not be so hesitant giving money to an ace. These type of pitchers do not come often and between the two they should go after Burnes.

Burnes
Yusei
Soriano
Anderson
Hendriks

Not bad.

2. Perry will continue to fast track prospects. While i dont agree with this completely as some have transitioned well and some have looked lost. If he wants to continue to do this, commit to it and do not take playing time away from these guys.

3. Take advantage of the pitching market etc.

1. Perry is done with these Eppler era players, especially on the pitching front. As guys that have been mainstays in our rotation are mostly gone.

I can back because 4th or 5th year guys like Canning/Sandy still unable to command their pitches is a reason why our Bullpen was taxed by June.

By moving Rengifo to 3B, since Perry has stated rendon needs to win his spot back.
