Ultimately trying to just be a positive contributor on here.
If I was an England bowler, I’d be pissed off. You bowl incredibly well to cover for the first innings batting circus, and then they come out and somehow manage to do worse.
As a fast bowler, you need a break.
The aggressive approach to scoring runs/getting out quickly harms them twice.

Bought your Samuel Smith Organic Lagers from deliveroo.
I have shamelessly imbibed all four.

An underrated movie, although the decisions to kill off newt and hicks stopped the opportunity to change the direction of this story.
Alien³ (1992)

Returning from LV-426, Ellen Ripley crash-lands on the maximum-security prison Fiorina 161, where she discovers that she has unwittingly brought along an unwelcome visitor.

A team still relying on runs from Labuschagne and Khawaja, who realistically are about 5 years on from Test level, was always going to be flakey.
Greens reaction to high pace, and Heads dismissal, were instructive. Looks like this could be over by morning on ashes Day three!

So basically, Australia have a world class pace attack and a ropey batting line up.

And England have the same, though maybe a little better in each area.

I wonder out of the 25 days ashes test cricket scheduled, whether it’ll reach 15 days in total.

Jameis Wilson, in a clutch moment, is the best defensive option available.

Controversial opinion, but other than appealing to a younger audience, there was little relevance in Little Mix being represented in the BBCs Girlbands documentary.

Girls Aloud would have made more sense.

Obviously the big topic of the day.

Jesus Christ. Nipples for hands galore for the Packers today. Umph

Actually listened to a new album, start to end, for the first time in about eleven years.
Considering I probably listened to a new album every three days for the previous twenty years, it’s a bizarre state of events.

It was The Charlatan’s new album. Would definitely recommend

So is Martin O’Neil not the saviour anymore? Just the doddering manager of a team of overpaid mentality miniatures?
November 6, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Jesus, we’ve got a lot of work to do over the coming years to get Scotland coefficient up again. It’s really all on Hearts to save a nation now.

It would be good if Celtic and Rangers showed some ambition.

I know there’s been a reluctance to play “Freak”, but if I’d gone to a Radiohead gig and they hadn’t played “Street Spirit “, I’d have been surprised.

Radiohead review – bards of the apocalypse return for a brutal bacchanal
Powered by a pounding rhythm section, the crowd dance to even the tricksiest drum patterns at Radiohead’s first gig in seven years – one that demonstrates the pure joy this band can bring

The old firm really are pony. That Celtic are in ET after having 10 men advantage for that long says everything. Cast them aside.
November 2, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Of course presumptive, but I suspect if Hearts win the league this season, and Celtic out of the Champions league again, this much vaunted financial model of theirs will start to come under greater pressure. I’m not convinced their fans understand their financial situation fully.

Still unbeaten. Can’t win every game and at the end of the day, great teams grind it out where they can. Onwards.

Celtic fan from Kilmarnock on SSB saying getting ‘ole’d’ at Tynecastle is ‘infuriating’. Great stuff, would listen again x

Actually, I thought we’d won 4-0 so I’m actually just disappointed 😂
I fully expect Celtic to get at least a draw, and history tells me that they tend to rebound hard next week.

But the reality is there’s never a good time to play them, you just have to play them. And with the right tactics, the right mentality and perform to our best, we should feel positive.

Interesting to see that things have moved on from “Jamestown won’t change anything” to “everyone has analytics” to “yeah but what have Brighton won?” The terror.
Brighton are playing in a league where every team is wealthier than Celtic and becomes more so each season.
They’re a success story..
