This paper is a must-read for #IDsky - yeah, I might be biased as a coauthor w amazing colleagues, including my dear friend Dr Jasmine Marcelin.

Key point - use appropriate titles to honor their expertise & show the appropriate respect. It matters to how the person is perceived by the audience.
INSIDE-OUT: Introduction of Speakers at IDWeek Events - Observing for Unconscious bias over Time

White moderators more frequently used non-professional introductions (no title at first intro). Younger and women speakers more likely to be introduced without title
