“When looking back on the first few decades of Viking raids one is sometimes put in mind of the twentieth-century US bank robber Willie Sutton being asked why he robbed banks and reportedly replying ‘because that’s where the money is’.”

Clear logic, obvious conclusions. Makes sense to me. 🤓

Given that a bottle costs 0.75 at Colruyt, this 4.20€ for a bottle of water at @brusselsairport.bsky.social is an impressive 460% additional mark-up. I think we’ve reached the price gouging scamming zone. I feel embarrassed to be from Brussels honestly. Let’s fly away lol. 😂

Alphabet going vertical. Rarely a good sign when something goes straight up. Let’s wait and see…

Still ongoing… 1MDB fraud. For anyone looking for a hollywood level story to read… this book from 2018 is still one of the craziest non-fiction books I've ever read. The people behind some of the financing of the movie the wolf of wall street have their own story that is way crazier than the movie.

No one knows anything… but you can't blame being defensive even though that's a hard sell in a bull market. They're more used to the Daniel Ives type at Bloomberg Surveillance it seems. What do you mean cash?

If you had unhedged ETF index trackers, that could have a big impact YTD! If it turns around, you'll miss out on usd/eur gains though, so something to think about! And yes, I'm trailing behind the hedged benchmarks… Ind. stock picking is hard (fun). But the year ain't over yet, this can go lower! 🫠

This graph 📉 is responsible. (Moody’s). At least that’s the one I remember posted in WSJ.
But even if it’s E shaped 😅 and nothing changes in spending, inflation or any unforeseen cost puts people living paycheck to paycheck in a bind. Isn’t the economy in a K shape since the 80s? 😬

Mix nr 74. Just another housefreak. At one point I’ll have to make decisions. This is ridiculous. Zoom out. grrr 🐯 I’m good at screwing up the tonal balance in the end by focusing on some ridiculous detail. Mixing in an untreated room is a bit silly anyway but ok… if the vibe’s there it should be ok

Reuters is pushing scam ads on its webpage and app. (Like meta lol) It’s eroding all journalistic and ethical credibility of Reuters. Please acknowledge your awareness on this issue.
November 9, 2025 at 11:23 AM
You guys are aware, the ads on your site and app are scams right? So bad for the Reuters brand identity. Just saying…
November 9, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Everyone seemed shocked about the ads from scams on Facebook but how about the ads in the news app from Reuters? For example this scammy looking BS based in Cyprus. @reuters.com Doesn’t look good, the cesspool that is ad-revenue based services. (I actually pay Reuters but I get this shit on top.)

Will Microstrategy, I mean “Strategy” fall through the lows of earlier this year? Is this another dip or has the madness finally ran its course?

US POSTS MOST OCTOBER LAYOFFS SINCE 2003

Challenger data however > based on announced plans! So there's some important caveats with these Challenger numbers. Also, they say seasonal hiring plans are the lowest since tracking started in 2012. So… still looks bad.

@bloomberg.com Are you kidding me!? Forward P/E at 279.3… still not enough for markets… DUH! Not even talking about that weird CEO and the weird political ideas behind this company but ok, that never stopped investors before. Upside is priced in at x100 EV/S maybe?
