He may have been a poor president, but he was a remarkable American. Awards, however, are best given to the living. Honoring someone posthumously holds little meaning. Let's focus on celebrating and encouraging those who are still with us.
President Jimmy Carter has officially won a posthumous Grammy for his narration of an audiobook of his Sunday school lessons. He is now a 4-time Grammy winner. RIP Jimmy. 💙

Why I don't trust Apple's AI tools...

Years ago, while driving:

Me: "Siri, get me directions to Rodeo Goat," a restaurant in Dallas.

Siri: [confidently] "Here are some florists!" (displays a list)

Frustrated, I tossed the phone onto the passenger seat and figured it out myself.

This idea affects many areas of life. I believe people crave a simple problem, as it allows them to purchase a straightforward solution.
My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.

There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.
