Yesterday I canned a bunch of corned beef hash. I have a crap ton of corned beef in the freezer I got on sale after St Patrick’s and I’m not a huge fan of boiled dinner, but I do like hash. I think I’m good for a long while. 🍜🍽️

Something to save my sanity is when I log in to this place I look at what is trending. Instantly this morning I see there is going to be a lot of rage based on that. I read headlines, I get the gist of what is going on, while protecting my inner peace. It's going to be ugly on social media for a bit

It's been a long time with responsibilities since I've been able to sneak away across the street into the rain forest. I'll be taking "me time" more often again without the 24/7 exhausting care of my elderly mom. Walkabouts are great for healing the mind/body/soul.

These are the two wedding rings the hospital “lost” until I threatened to call the cops & the hospital administrator. They suddenly found them! The smaller one was my grandma’s ring and the larger one my dad gave my mom on their wedding day. Mom was wearing them when she passed away.

She made it to 100 years old and just a little over a month ago on her birthday. She was so happy here, surrounded by so many people that loved her. My heart is so broken. RIP mom, I loved you so deeply. Your with Dad and my 2 brothers we lost. Your in Gods loving hands now. 💔🙏

Every time I sign in and see what’s happening in our world, I have to meditate to get rid of the toxic energy. It’s how I’m protecting my peace & sanity. They want us scared so they can control us. Fear is a powerful weapon.

So, with grocery prices rising we’re back to Heinz Beans on toast for breakfast (I home can my own Heinz Beans so it’s super cheap eats). It’s a fiber & protein filled meal that keeps you full for a long time. I put a little cheese & an egg on top. 🍜🍽️

To all the people over the years that poked fun at me for gardening and canning the bounty. I just went to the cellar and grocery shopped, filling the kitchen pantry. THIS is why I garden and go old school with growing/preserving most of our food.🍜🍽️

My handmade (not mass produced) bronze singing bowls arrived from Nepal today. I’m super happy as I’ll be meditating using them daily to remain in a peaceful state during these arduous times 🙏✌️🧘♀️

Usually packages from Asia enter the USA from LA on the west coast for those of us out west. It's interesting that carriers are now sending mail through the middle east to reach us instead of traditional routes due to Trump being hostile to Asian countries.

I am so excited, my set of handmade, hand hammered singing bowls from Nepal are on their way to me. I've really gotten into meditation as it calms me during these uncertain times. There are more expensive bowls I would have like but my budget called for these on sale and they'll work just fine. ❤️🙏

This fire is near me and has been burning all summer long. It's massive and I guess they just have 19 people fighting this 20k acre fire in the Olympic National Forest to watch it burn out and exhaust itself. This is so heartbreaking to me.
