Be Your Mythical Best!
I remember watching The Righteous Gemstone Several months ago (think maybe April or may) and was thinking "oh my gosh he was literally in king of the hill and also is set to play Dale (husband to Nancy) this summer"

10-16-83 Orioles beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5–0 in Game 5 of the 1983 World Series. Scott McGregor pitched a complete game shutout, giving up 5 hits, 0 runs; Phillies used multiple pitchers, none were able to score. Eagles lost 37–7 at the Dallas Cowboys. Flyers played the Rangers & lost.

According to my BFF ChatGPT As of tonight—Thursday, October 9, 2025—the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, & Eagles are all playing on the same day. This marks the eighth time in history that all three teams have had games on the same day, with the most recent occurrence being on Sunday, October 10,1993

There are lots of theories going around, and honestly I have *zero* idea if they’re true or not, but it does seem notable that Paramount caved on 60 minutes, gave Trump’s people a settlement for a legal case they could easily win…

if financials were truly a concern, they’d have found ways to reduce production costs (dropping the live band, cutting back the number of shows per week) before they cancelled the show

Here's Colbert on July 14 making fun of Paramount for paying Trump $16 million. It's hard not to see CBS canceling his show through this lens.

"I believe this kind of complicated financial settlement with a sitting government official has a technical name in legal circles. It's big fat bribe."
