Oh no. Alexandria is totally united. No factions at all. Just a total love fest.

Got it.

I do think its worth clarifying that "over building" implies a maximum optimal capacity, which we haven't agreed is a thing let alone what it is, and that "overcrowding" is also problematic. To the general community but also to AEDP in particular.

Oh wait, this is AEDP, not Housing Office. They're not as close to the housing discourse, though I'd hope they know enough to realize this is problematic. Education needed.

Arlington has better bike infrastructure than Alx, IMHO.
Arlington has this huge bike advocate/county staff drama.
"Not my monkey, not my circus" but well, you're everywhere, so I can't resist, well, wondering.

Maybe the NW PG river towns come close, Im not sure. There may be quirkiness in some Jewish parts of MoCo, but again, i can't easily recognize it.
Ive been pleased with how quirky ALX is.

Metro DC is notoriously not quirky (let's not get into AA and recent immigrant cultures, which are their own things) There's an old DC/merrlin culture thats kind of quirky, but I think hard to find any more. For transplant DMV, i think City of Alexandria is definitely quirkiest

I would suggest that Rosemont residents bring up any issues relative to civic association process, I won't

There is a significant amount of parking available in the area - the City’s study confirms this, and it can be seen by observation. To the extent that parking is still a concern, it can be managed in many ways - the 3 hour resident zone can be expanded both in area and in time covered.

The proposals with bike lanes and intersection changes will calm traffic and improve safety for pedestrians and people on bikes, while adding minimal delay for drivers.

I don't think it hurts to keep reminding them, and the larger community, of that.

I read Read "The Soul of a New Machine" I think was about DEC
November 20, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Im pretty sure that i first analyzed econ data on a DEC 20 (or was it a PDP 11? I may be confusing the computer at ́my STEM hs with the econ dept one in college)

If you make your opinion known to Traffic and Parking Board, and Council that will be helpful i think.

Wouldn't it be ironic if City Hall is renovated as per the BAR motion and that building, sandstone chimneys and all, is the scene of a dramatic curtailment of the BAR's authority ?

Hes been good in the past. "Fracking bans are bad if they make the Dems lose Pennsylvania" is debatable but logically very different from "environmentalism is bad". I think this was either sloppy, or hes let himself get sucked down a social media rabbit hole.
