Now compare it to Hollywood and Vine station, which is much denser and has much a higher ridership as a result. This is ONE example of how we have already done Transit Oriented Development properly in California, it’s common sense and we should do the same for EVERY LA Metro station. 3/3

Here’s a rail station in LA, see what’s it’s surrounded by? Suburbs, this is terrible land use policy and does nothing good for the transit system. The red Square represents the relative area that sb 79 will apply to at the expo/western LA metro station. This is not good land use policy 2/3

I’m cautiously optimistic that the BOS might reverse these awful cuts & also revoke uber and Lyfts access to car free market st. I am cautiously optimistic because Matt Dorsey’s Staff quickly responded to my email about it, it means the BOS is listening & knows that people want a Car Free Market st.
