There are signs that state the speed limit is 25 mph, a warning for those going over 25 but under 40 right right before a traffic light, and an unprotected bike lane for bikes going uphill. Is this not textbook quality safety design?!?

The worst job in this world has to be evolutionary biologist. Just how do you explain a cat turning into a bigger cat, but then a cat girl. Or that an angry pile of eggs is really a single organism, or a bunch of bees in a honeycomb is a single organism, or two mice are a single organism.

Wait, so are we going back to handwritten resumes because I'm pretty sure Word and Docs are 3rd party systems that don't pass that check once you select all and alter the font.

The system was already in a full body cast from Covid when AI came along. The best glib diagnosis I can offer is that we're working with a system whose stated intent is to produce merit but the end product only has a time based acceptance criteria.

When I was a TA in college 20 years ago, I was the bad one of because I had the expectation that the students would read the play before my discussion section. This is a failure of the educational system for not instilling the need for rigor and allowing the false idea of "learning styles" to go on
