I'm craving a game like Clive Barker Undying and unfortunately I don't think there's anything else out there that fits that niche. In my mental Venn Diagram I can't think of a lot of games that hit the cosmic horror/medium paced fps sweet spot

Donut County was Kes' favorite game played through @gamepass.xbox.com who apparently stopped announcing when games are leaving. Now I have to explain the ephemeral nature of streaming content to a 5 year old #funtimes

Kes and I have paused Warcraft lore and have switched over to 40k, which is fun to sanitize for a 5 year old. Yesterday he learned of the fall of the Eldar and birth of Slanesh, god of greed & excitement. He wanted to see a picture and I told him no his mortal mind just couldn't comprehend her form

I have absolutely fallen down a Warhammer 40k lore hole. I don't even play the game but I picked up Tacticus just a scratch that itch.

Seattle's new waterfront park, where you can ride your bike to it, but there's no where to lock it up. Also, it's been kindly built out of solar oven parts and tall drops for kids. Parents, feel a sense of nostalgia when you see your kids play on super dangerous looking play equipment

I've been playing a lot more Pokémon go and in doing so I'm being introduced to so many new Pokémon I've not seen before... Like the Goth Lolita Pokémon which I find even more confusing than Mr. Mime or Jynx

As an avid comic adaptation fan I'm interested in seeing how Iron Man and his Awesome Friends is going to handle the alcoholism storylines

Feels odd being the first parent to a Pre-K graduation. I'm just sitting in the middle of a grass field, at a school, alone.

It's weird how the algorithms notice that I'm in to crafts, parenting, and gardening but all the things they show me about crafts, parenting, and gardening are not the corners of these interests I care about.

I know of human, dwarf, and vampire/werewolf metal, but is there any elf, orc, or like tiefling metal?

I spent some time playing Crime Scene Cleaner and I can't remember another game where I walked away thinking "Why did I play that?" Carrying bodies at the insistence of disembodied voices of criminal stereotype people to save your sick game child isn't fun and just gets more depressing as it goes

Kes asked for a story from Warcraft Rumble and he has no idea how deep the well of his request is.

It's weird that some restaurants just assume that kids don't drink. Like, as you're seated, they bring 2 plastic cups for the adults and then hand the kids a smaller plastic cup full of crayons

Walking Kes to school we were talking about how there were heroes from different worlds but not all worlds in Smash Bros (which he calls save the heroes). I think explaining multiple worlds made more sense to him than the difficult intricacies of cross-brand agreements.

As I've seen evidenced in media, has anyone ever met someone who identifies by their hobby? Like "Hi my name is Jake but you can call me Dungeons and Dragons, and this is my best friend Jacobian Historical Reenactment"

At an Apocalyptica show realizing I did not spend enough of my life studying for attendance at a live metal show🤷.
Also note from opener, screamy metal voice is way better when delivered by a woman.
