For Scotland this may be hypothetical.

- SNP majority 2026 Holyrood
- Referendum 2027 (UK Gov realising it can't spit on democracy)
- YES vote
- Exit negotiations begin
- No need to stand for election to Westminster in 2028

There is an element of point missing going on. I posted it because the increasing alignment of Yes voting to Indy party voting is really interesting, but folks are focusing on the Yes line, and even on why Alba's supposed increased polling numbers aren't shown. *sigh*

I posted this on my Yes page and I'm getting some pushback over the indy vote apparently declining. Is there a source for the data?

What this shows more than anything is the extent to which the financial crash broke the world.

Yes Scotland, you too could have a government as uninspiring and cruel as England's.

And ScotGov spends a significant proportion of its block grant mitigating the worst effects of Westminster austerity.

"Has done everything it can to protect us..." would be fairer, follwed by "and the only way it can do more is with independence."

We have a precedent in the UK for appeasing the far right.
It didn't turn out well. It never does.

Fight. Expose the lies.

Oh, and Scotland? This is not who we are. GTFO already.

Worth noting: polls still weight results to match the 2014 indyref outcome. That artificially drags Yes down. The raw, unweighted numbers consistently show support for independence several points higher than what’s reported.

9 CDs' worth of Lennon's worst album, and they omit the best song on it.
"It's political correctness gone mad, I tell you."

It may be “Your Party” — but is it Scotland’s?

We don’t yet know where Jeremy Corbyn’s new party stands on Scottish independence. Until that’s clear, half the country — those who want to leave the UK — don’t know if this is a party for them.

We wish the project well. But Scotland deserves clarity.

To be clear, since 1999 we have our own parliament again, but its powers are limited and it can be overruled by the UK parliament whenever they think it has stepped out of line.
