Was it Dubya or Trump who said this - "No one knew you could fly planes into buildings"

It was Dubya. Looking back it seems his presidency really set the template for Trump.

Anyway. TIL about this incident where a guy flew a plane in to a Texas IRS building a year before 911

The wife went to Zakopane yesterday, and one of things she got from there was this.

It's just a caramel candy but it is orgasmic. It's like eating a crumbly caramel barfi filled with caramel.

Absolutely scrumptious.

Typical premise. Standard issue characters.

But it's developing well. I especially like the minor characters.

Oddly the people in the smaller roles seem to better actors than the main cast.

Israel planned a false flag attack in Mexico, one month after the 911 event.

Overwhelm them, use up their resources.

Don't do a single location protest/march, do a multi location one in the same city to keep the pigs preoccupied.

Jail Bharo to preoccupy their resources.

It's okay. The action ranges between decent and meh. The plot line is also okay with a lot of Japan specific cliche.

The visuals feel off. Half of the scenes are close up visuals of characters faces. Who wants to see that in an action film?

5/10

Made sheet pan kebabs yesterday. Were decent.
Made kofta curry with the leftover meat mix today :)

This doesn't prove anything, but it does allow for an argument to be made.

Ofcourse the military history between sikh leaders and the mughals does color present perceptions, but this is something that hindutva has exploited.

It's interesting to see the current regime try to kill that collaboration

So I watched season 2 of this series and it was pretty good.

It was a complex mystery, pretty much like the previous season with a decent amount of historical drama blended in.

I recommend it.

Excellent procedural investigation.
I am glad I watched it.

I love mysteries and police procedural, and this was one an excellent example of both.

Highly recommend it.

No spoilers review - It's okay

But not great. The things it does well, it does very well. Corenswet is great. The visuals are pretty good when not fully cgi. The music is great too. Gunn has a great taste in music. Krypto is cool too.

I like that this isn't an origin story. 1/2

It's interesting that religion was (mis?)used to successfully gain political power, to create a demigod out of a corrupt politician, and later to help weather the pandemic

You'd think I'm talking about India, but this documentary follows it as it happened in Brazil

Pretty interesting

Reminded of the time I was visiting a friend in Kolkata.

He insistent that his Bengali neighbor wasn't Bengali but was Muslim. I said the neighbor could be both and it took him a while to process that.

Pretty good show.

I like watching shows set in communist Europe. Although the show doesn't really give you a feeling of the city. Probably because it's a fictional one.

Either way, it's a good intestigational.

Beetroot hummus.

Was decent.

Minor inconsistencies and an odd pulpy scene to two, hold it back from being nearly perfect. But even so, it's an excellent film.

If you like slow burn folk horror films, this is for you.

Also, this was my first Mamooty film. He was pretty cool.

Rewatching Beef, and it's just perfect. There just aren't enough tv shows about people bent on destroying each other

This show is better than I could have hoped for.

The earnestness is a bit irritating but I'm happy to see this show come to life.

David Thewlis, as always, is excellent.
