I also don’t recommend telling your SO to stop working extra duties to have more free time for you and that you’ll just give her the money she’d make from those extra duties… especially when she knows you essentially want childcare.

You DO NOT date a teacher and within the first 2 months, tell her that you hope that she’ll soon be ok with keeping your 2 kids after school so you won’t have to leave work early to pick them up and you won’t have to work Saturdays to make up your hours.
