you mean the moral people who voted for mass deportations or the moral people who wanted the J6ers pardoned? or maybe it was the moral folks who just wanted to "lock her up" and "build the wall"?

First off, save this for the next time John Fetterman goes off about how our problems are all due to the AOCs and Mamdanis in our party, and second of all, kick Schumer to the curb and bring us a majority leader who can deliver on that fight

OTOH, "if we lose the election we all go to jail, therefore fuck the constitution" is about as Roman as it gets for a certain, specific time period with eerie relevance to the present...

Together, these papers bring insights into novel mechanisms of resistance, increase our understanding of which cancers may respond to GTP-state RAS inhibitors, and advance a novel combination with CDK12/13 inhibitors to extend duration of response and prevent drug resistance. Congrats team!

We found diverse pathways to resistance led to a shared vulnerability to CDK12/13 inhibitors, which exacerbated mitotic arrest through loss of CDK12-dependent TP73 expression. Combining CDK12/13 and KRAS inhibitors up front prevented the onset of drug resistance!

Targeting CDK12/13 Drives Mitotic Arrest to Overcome Resistance to KRASG12C Inhibitors
Abstract. The onset of acquired resistance limits the efficacy of KRASG12C inhibitors in lung cancer patients. Experiments in preclinical model systems and retrospective analyses of patients treated w...

There are a lot more Germans who were involved in mass murder in the field, and there are plenty of unit records, as well as testimony. This is a well-studied question and there is, at least, no record of this happening. Plus, secret unreported penalties are not a useful incentive to commit murder.

clearly not the point, but "successfully retrograde in an organized manner without incident" from a police riot is one hell of a Civil War generalism

they shared classified info about an ongoing military operation on an app they shouldn't be using. the chat included most of the senior members of the administration and security state and the rest of them have been lying to congress about it. lock em up!

the entire MAGA movement was anchored on inflating a story about Hilary Clinton using a private server (with a big ole assist from @nytimes.com) that they snowballed into a successful fascist movement. this is so much worse and blatantly criminal, and can help anchor a countervailing movement.

second, specifically wrt NIH, i think they dont want to get into a standoff with congress, but do want the agencies to toe the line on "DEI-linked" stuff/maybe vaccines?/maybe more? again, factions. but im saying they can hold NIH hostage long enough to matter without openly confronting congress.

first of all, im not sure they are super competent and 100% on the same page about what they are doing--it sounds like there are factions with different agendas competing for influence. i think this is what happened with the overall federal grants freeze.

delaying things like study sections, grant disbursements, etc. can also be framed as temporary technical issues and not refusal to allow congress to fund what it wants to IF congress ever confronts the administration about this. it still would devastate research programs and scientists, though.

our foundation model can surpass experimental approaches to salute deconvolution, and is able to predict forms of authoritarianism not yet observed in nature

I remember a particularly frustrating moment at the end of Obama's presidency when he made the case that they moved the ball down the field on many fronts. I appreciate the effort, but the presidency specifically is all about points on the board, not promising stats.

The danger here is that you don't have to be a personally terrible human or really into the fascism itself to help build it and trample the lives of millions of people. And that is absolutely true of lots of Democratic voters, too, but at least they didn't put us in this situation.

American Foreign Policy. I went to school in Canada, and only took 3 non-major classes, but it was really useful to get a non-US perspective on how our country treats the world and why it makes the decisions it does.
