Sato’s hair was white but dyed blue mostly to avoid scrutiny from Umenian populace—people would probably pay less attention to their ears being concealed when their hair is weirder-looking.

Both Elfiya and Sato dyed their hair. Elf’s hair was brown to green mostly just because she feels like doing it? (It definitely checks with her wayward spirit tho)

Tried to play Dream of Splendors in the Song Dynasty on solo tonight (there’s no real solo rules to this game I’m just playing with one player only assuming it would still work, and it did)

Nameplate, bidding board and the tactic cards from the expansion. Given the ruling that I’ve read I kinda wonder how much impact would the “bidding on turn order” thing have effect on the gameplay…

In-game cards too, a lot of flavor texts, but given this is one of those “traditional Chinese cultural game” it’s definitely given.

This is the first truly “Chinese” board game that I have on my shelf…this might be on my to-do list another day until the devs themselves decided to make an English version of it, I suppose.

Something very amusing about this kind of historical games is that, you can stretch the definition of an irl thing or incident so much that it makes sense on paper, but it sounds VERY funny when you think about it
