Yesterday, I saw that my ex-secondary was dating someone new, likely a new primary after her separation. My reaction to it was surprising to me — not of hurt, of pain, or of jealousy, but of joy and happiness. She found someone new, and it looked like he knew her and understood her. 1/3

When your therapist says that, after observing me for a bit, I’m clearly in a depressive episode, you take heed. I wish there was an easy fix, but, as they said to me, I need to keep doing everything that I’m doing (working out more, eating better, socializing intentionally) and give it time.
