That's what Bluesky seems like, actually.

Am I'm supposed to believe a YouTube video posted by a dead Egyptian?

The state owns nothing in Capitalism. That's what makes is Capitalism. You have been mislead by the internet.

This is the European definition. Americans have been lied to for decades.

This is face-palmingly stupid.

This TV show sounds like another example of missing the point entirely. Whoever heard of speed knitting colorwork in heavy yarn, or asking a knitter to crochet? I can't imagine Daley had any input.

As an ambulatory wheelchair user who has family in NYC and loves to go there, putting in proper infrastructure for disabled people is something that is important for a city like NY. Both for residents and tourists. Go Mamdani!

These poor Target employees. I love Lush too, even if I'm currently too poor to buy anything there. The employees have a great balance of being available but not overly friendly. Kohls is like that too, at least my 2 local stores.

Annotated Pioneer Girl, by Laura Ingalls Wilder, edited by Pamela Smith Hill. I stumbled on this by accident, learning about it in an old Reddit thread on the Little House books, which I read as a child. It provides inisght into Wilder's childhood and her family's life and history. Very good book.

When I lived in Exeter, Devon in 2013, I had roses at Christmas. I had recently moved and the bush was in a very large pot. I remember the climate being very similar between that part of Devon and Surrey, so you might. Lovely rose.

I'm so sorry. They're so good at stealing those little pieces of our hearts.

An Ohioan (Columbus) here to say congratulations Mayor-Elect Mamdani! I can't wait to see what you and NYC do together.

You can buy chicken in bone and cook that too, then cut the cooked meat off the bone. It's easier than deboning raw. Whole chickens (think rotisserie) with some meat left on also make a great broth. Take leftover meat off before you cook it down so you can strain it, then add meat in.

I see. Sorry if I presumed too much.

Sounds like you're having a Time. Ignore your aunt. She sounds awful. Family is whatyou make of it and it sounds like you're making a good family. Hugs about ailing grandparents.

Said girl and her mom are probably moving out of state because Ohio is a R dumpster fire.

I keep seeing this and it makes me so angry. My niece has a trans friend, mtf. They're only like 7, but this girl is like 100% sure. Her family's supportive, my niece's family is supportive, why TF can't the effing govt be at least ambivalent?? Never mind all the trans adults there are. 🤬

Beautiful pictures and I always appreciate the medical advice. I have CFS/ME and haven't flown in over a decade, but hope to go overseas to Australia (my dream) or Europe in the future. Masking is top of that list. I will continue to follow studies in order to stay safe.

Ah, the toxic side of the internet! How wonderful. (/s)

That's cause we get so much guilt from everyone. A government handout, even when you have basically no income, makes you dirty, according to the vocal minority. It sucks. You learn to tune it out.
