Discovered why the dog has been “on the hunt” every morning when I take her out. I make sure to make lots of noise when we come outside. I don’t want her to catch a possum.

🖋️ “Vote NO: The SAVE Act Is Voter Suppression” hit 10,000 signers!

💬 Text SIGN PTVCBT to 50409
Vote NO: The SAVE Act Is Voter Suppression
Text SIGN PTVCBT to 50409 — Let’s be clear: the so-called Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act isn’t about securing our elections—it’s about suppressing voters. If you vote for it, you’re not defending democracy. You’re helping dismantle it. The SAVE Act is a direct assault on millions of eligible Americans. It would force voters to show documentary proof of citizenship—like a passport or birth certificate—every time they register or update their registration. These documents are costly, difficult to access, and not required in most states today. Seniors, people with disabilities, rural residents, and low-income Americans would be among the first silenced. Married women whose names no longer match their birth certificates? Blocked. Trans and nonbinary Americans whose IDs don’t align with outdated documents? Targeted. Communities of color already facing systemic barriers? Further marginalized. These aren’t unintended consequences—they are the goal. This bill would gut mail-in and online voter registration, end automatic registration efforts, and crush voter registration drives—especially in underserved communities. It would allow voter purges without notice and even threaten election workers with prison time for registering citizens who lack the exact documentation. The SAVE Act is nothing short of an orchestrated attack on the right that protects all others: the right to vote. It weaponizes bureaucracy to erase voters from the process. If passed, it will shrink the electorate, deepen inequality, and undermine the integrity of our elections. If you believe in an inclusive democracy—one that doesn’t punish people for their ZIP code, income level, name, gender, or race—then you must vote NO on the SAVE Act. Stand on the right side of history. Reject this disgraceful attempt to silence the people.

🖋️ “SCOTUS must immediately uphold judicial authority, and protect the rule of law” hit 3,000 signers!

💬 Text SIGN PKZEOK to 50409
SCOTUS must immediately uphold judicial authority, and protect the rule of law
Text SIGN PKZEOK to 50409 — The actions of President Trump and his administration in defying the Supreme Court's clear order to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador to the United States are an unprecedented threat to the rule of law and the balance of powers. By willfully mischaracterizing the Court's ruling and refusing to provide basic information or take any steps to comply, the Executive Branch has placed itself in open defiance of the Judicial Branch. This blatant disregard for the authority of the federal courts strikes at the very foundation of our constitutional system of checks and balances. If allowed to stand, the President's position that the courts lack any power to compel action related to foreign affairs would effectively nullify judicial review over a vast swath of Executive actions. This radical view of unbounded presidential authority is antithetical to our nation's principles and cannot be accepted. The Court must decisively rebuke this constitutionally dangerous path by promptly exercising its considerable authority to enforce its ruling and reassert the preeminence of the law. Failure to do so would represent an irreversible abdication of the Court's vital role as a co-equal branch of government. Given the gravity of the situation, holding administration officials in contempt for non-compliance appears a necessary and justified initial response. More stringent measures may unfortunately become warranted should defiance persist. The integrity of the American system of constitutional democracy is at stake. Firm action to uphold the Court's legitimacy, affirm the separation of powers, and compel the President's compliance is imperative to avoid a catastrophic institutional crisis.

🖋️ “Defend the First Amendment. Speak out. Act against violations of 1A” hit 250 signers!

💬 Text SIGN PTWEES to 50409
Defend the First Amendment. Speak out. Act against violations of 1A
Text SIGN PTWEES to 50409 — I write to ask you to reaffirm the First Amendment in public statements, in the local and national media and on your social media. The oath you swore to uphold and defend the constitution requires you to defend the First Amendment against all who seek to undermine it, or to remove our rights. The first amendment reads: "Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The attacks on the first amendment since Trump took office alarm me. Today the State Department instructed employees to report others for non-Christian bias. Do you approve of this? It contravenes the First Amendment. In fact, it sounds not only unconstitutional but also like something you'd see in a fascist theocratic state. Tufts University student Rümeysa Öztürk was detained by six plainclothes agents of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) because of an editorial she co-authored in a student newspaper. She is a green card holder. Since when do we allow people guilty of no crime to be kidnapped off the street by plainclothes agents, with no due process and no charges? All because they exercised the constitutional right to freedom of expression. Where will this end? What will it take for Congress to take action? Are you going to fill in a bingo card of the numbers of every article of the constitution and every item in the bill of rights that this administration tears into shreds? It's time to speak out: Defend the first amendment. Condemn these violations of the constitution. Impeach Trump. Use congressional oversight to expose and censure violations. Please reply in writing to tell me whether you will uphold or betray the constitution of the United States of America.

Last week, 6,709 people signed their strike card. Since 1/20/25, hundreds of thousands have. But we need MORE.

Share at protests, put up flyers, talk with your community. Can you get (3) people to sign their strike card this week? That’s one step closer to a strike. It’s time to go all in.
