As I said in another forum where people seemed to be happy about Mason Greenwood on his way to play for Jamaica after just rejecting us the other day, it seems we sell the black, green and gold cheaply these days. Also, I don't think he should have ever been an option.

I understand that a player in her position has a decision to make. But I think once you put on a country's jersey, you commit to that jersey. We are a country, and that means a lot. We are not a club. Friendly game or not, once you put on that jersey, there should be no turning back.

I would like to see commitment to the team from a foreign-born player once that player has chosen to represent us. Using foreign-born players always stirs some debate among a home country's fans, and situations that evolve in this way stir the pot even more.

I've asked that question myself, too. If the USL Division 1 does end up competing will they enter into playoffs with the NWSL for berths, or will they be assigned berths? I imagine NWSL might argue they are a higher quality league than the USL, and that the USL should compete for their berths.
