When you use genAI, you become a statistic. Those companies can now use that to gain more funding and contracts. “See how many users we have! See, devs are using it, so it’s obviously good for game development!” You are contributing to the replacement of people’s jobs, whether you intend it or not.

Im completing my second degree and theyre trying to jam a bunch of ai courses into program and have tweaked the program description to describe how its “leading in ai development and machine learning” like fuuuuuck off i dont want this and you cant force me to use it

but also its important to remember that people will likely get hurt solving the issues in america as well, it is not an easy or fun process to fix an increasingly fascist country

im hyper aware of the situation and what needs to happen, i have to live it

the whole system is unfortunately running as intended by those who've built it over the years. its horrible for the majority of people and needs to be rebooted.

if hes held accountable then he just gets replaced by the VP who is also horrible and wants to ruin lives

they also do everything they can to allow for these two sections of people to have more voting power than they should, which is how the majority of people can vote for a candidate and still lose.

those of us who arent for it are stuck on this horrid ride 😔

there's two big things at play
one, the USA heavily indoctrinates its population into falling in line, and the far right hard pushes against people obtaining quality education

two, a lot of them are just bigoted or engage in hyper individualist sentiment and do not care if others are harmed.
