It will be five years in May since my husband died suddenly. Grief doesn't end; it changes.

Grief, Five Years In

Missouri's AG Andrew Bailey is suing Starbucks, arguing that its workforce is too "female" and "non-white" and as a result Missouri consumers “pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services" because its workforce is "less qualified"

This is a brazenly racist and sexist lawsuit.

Or we could just watch him implode.
Wow. If this is accurate teams of therapists need to parachute into Washington. Today.
You can clearly see on this chart when he sleeps and how it began to fluctuate and shrink. The last day it showed he might have slept for 45 minutes to an hour. Mental issues (multiple) and drugs (also multiple)are a very bad combination.

Two mariachi bands from Texas high schools play in a competition. On the way home, they happen to stop at the same Whataburger. You can guess what happens next.

This is America.

it really is appropriate to view this as potentially the biggest privacy and cybersecurity scandal in American history
“Thomas Shedd, a former Tesla engineer who has been tapped to lead a technology team at G.S.A., told some staff members that he hoped to put all federal contracts into a centralized system so they could be analyzed by artificial intelligence”
Our deep dive into Musk's takeover: Even some officials who like what Musk is doing feel helpless to hold him accountable. His allies are diving in to agencies, gaining access to systems, planning layoffs, and proposing a sweeping AI initiative to review contracts. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/03/u...
