I released Episode 4 of the series “From Piano to Orchestra, Ravel’s orchestration toolbox”.

It’s a note-by-note study of a short and beautiful tune of Ravel’s: Valses Nobles et sentimentales (movement II).

My dear psychologically burdened friends, just think how relieved it would be if you could already adopt the third stage of the thoughts! 🤩

✨✨✨Feeling small and insignificant is an incredible feeling. True freedom. My friends! ✨✨✨

Adopt it now! And unburden yourself. I urge you. 🤍

In the third stage, you finally realize: ✨nobody is looking at you, thinking about you, or judging you at the first place!!✨

In the second stage, you tell yourself 🌱I don’t care what other people think about me. 🌱

He said he went through three stages:

In the first stage, you feel 🥀everyone is looking at you and judging you and you are so nervous and constantly feeling defeated 🥀

I think that's what "music" wants - inspiring, connecting, including and expanding.

Friends, I hope you come to this concert or watch it online www.youtube.com/live/mbpZixg... . It will be a heart-warming night.

While learning about the tune and the musicians, I saw pictures of Roy Haynes with Bud Powell. I watched Roy Haynes's performances with Chick Corea. I thought of Monk's tune "In Walked Bud," those angular melody! And then "Bud, Bird, Duke."

All those sounds and people!

Later, Professor Manricks gave me the email of Dr. Joe Gilman, who then guided me through this ocean for all the coming years! ❤️

I stole flute/piano unison and low winds accompaniment, and the playfulness and cuteness from "Bud, Bird, Duke" and I loved it!
