To list a few:

1. Can't use shaders on elements
2. Limited text animation support, e.g no text mesh pro tweening
3. Non static elements that need movement.

Because UI toolkit is based on frontend development it has inherently the same kind of drawbacks and its why most webpages have a static feel

What I find helps is the discipline to work on it say at least 30 mins a day.

The FOSS activitywatch.net software helps you keep track of time spent on each window

Blue is the total time I spent on Game dev "Work", red being playing games and watching youtube.

I tried looking for it in Unity 6, couldn’t find it so completely gave up on it.

Its shame because a lot of web assets like icons are available as svg

It’s kinda weird but like if the DLC was big enough I could see it. Unfortunately that’s really not the case for DLCs

Personally I’d recommend switching over to typescript and setting up typescript-eslint

The rule no-misused-promises would prevent you from passing an asynchronous function to forEach

JavaScript is just a foot gun, it becomes worse the bigger your codebase is
