Satellite imagery revealed features with a playing card shape in the Jordanian desert.

This is the classic shape taken by #Roman forts, so may indicate a previously unknown Roman military campaign into what is today Saudi Arabia #RomanFortThursday

NEW Finds from an Iron Age-Roman cemetery on the Baltic island of Bornholm and reconstructions of how they may have been worn.
From locations such as Scandinavia, Poland and Germany, they indicate Bornholm was a key contact centre across the sea.
