First time I tried Linux was in 1998. Friends convinced me to download Slackware over dial-up. Lasted about a day before going back to Win95.
Got convinced again in 2000. This time it was with Red Hat. Lasted a few days before going back to Win98.

I got a SNES in 1993 and a Genesis in 1996. SNES is my favorite of all time but the Genesis is all right.

$24.99 for a cardboard model. I paid $20 for the Virtual Boy in 1997 for the real thing.

My last 2 brand new NES games were bought from KB Toys in 1996. I got a 32X with 2 games for $30 in 1997. The cashier talked me out of buying an Atari Jaguar for $25 in 1998. I spent the 90s buying discounted games, accessories, and consoles from KB Toys.

I bought my second N64 on 9.9.99 after my first was stolen. The guy I bought the N64 from used that cash to get a Dreamcast. He brought it over afterwards and ngl, felt a little envy.
Finally got my own in 2001 shortly after it was discontinued. Still one of my favorite consoles ever.
