In my 4 decades on this earth. Whenever there was an emergency the government ramped up its governmenting and overreacted.
With this, they are not reacting and saying things like “it’s not our military”. Not “it’s not us”

I just keep thinking back to when I lived in Virginia Beach in the early 60’s. Navy planes would drop radar chaff on our neighborhood and when people called to complain, the Navy said they didn’t have any planes flying that day. I suspect they’re ours
