Hey uh, lil PSA to all my neurodivergent folks who struggle to eat: Apparently eating only breakfast and dinner is really pretty bad for your insulin sensitivity. :'> And can contribute to developing pre-diabetes, especially if you are at risk due to genetics. A protein snack in between, please.

I am greatly enjoying the game "Tiny Bookshop" on Steam. It's very relaxing and low-stakes but rewarding. I'd recommend if people are looking for a cute game with simple mechanics, especially if they're bookish. It's fun to see familiar titles.

Day 261
A 2-panel comic drawn in pen with crosshatch and inkwash shading. Panel 1 is large and shows me working in a dark room at my graphics tablet, which is the light source. I have a blank stare on my face and dark circles (darker than usual, lol) under my eyes. The captions say "It's hard to decide what's more devastating: white supremacists kidnapping and killing people, funded by my taxes, or seeing so many 'nice,' 'polite' Americans just... not care. Sometimes I wonder if we're worth saving." From the bottom of the panel a fluffy cat arm is reaching up, accopanied by a scraggly speech bubble with misspellings and unnecessary accents on all the vowels: "but have you considered..." Panel 2 is small and shows my longhair cat Margo, closing her eyes and sitting on a chair beside me, my arm coming in from off-panel and scratching her head. Her speech bubble says "...scratching Margo on her sweet little head? yes.." Beneath the comic is my signature (Kat Baumann), today's date (9-18-2025) and the time I spent drawing this (50 minutes)

Every once in a while, I try painting humans. I'm never quite sure about it, but I see improvement! I spent about 6ish hours on it, but, I'm gunna be so real with you, too much of that was being indecisive about the sketch.
