Some may be sore at Frank Springer's inks for sanding Joe Kubert's fingerprints off this Rock spread, but I revel in the layer of conventional illustrative drawing rigor and Caniff/Sickles/Toth punchy chiaroscuro he adds while maintaining Joe's infallible page design and operatic emotion. A+++
