Jonathan Dove's Flight presented by New England Conservatory. Quarter of a century since its premiere, this opera hasn't aged one bit. Seeing this for a second time since 2015, I love it even more.

Tray of cookies and brownies are for school teachers' luncheon tomorrow. Muffins are for Election Day bake sale tomorrow as well.

Bang the Drum 🥁 by Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP). Music by Jessie Montgomery, Richard Danielpour, and Gunther Schuller. Absolutely incredible!

We made it to November! #homegrown garden update, all plants are winding down; zinnias have frost damage. I still got 2 small arrangements out of what's out there.

Errollyn Wallen's Dido Ghost performed by Emmanuel music , conducted by Ryan Turner and directed by Rebecca Miller Kratzer. An interesting mix of new music with the old, as well as harpsichord and theorbo with electric bass and steel pan!
