Jooky Belmont really has the personality of a thumbtack and that's why it's kind of hard to say much about his drives or motivations, but I think it's canon that the man loves Precious Moments figurines. I don't care how anachronistic that is.

If you never heard of Sea Dogs, it's basically the sailing, trading, sword fights & sea battles of Sid Meier's Pirates!, plus RPG systems and quests made by Russians who love old-school RPGs and hate you.

It's janky, obtuse and even boring sometimes... but when (if) it clicks, it's really memorable
