Try opening a terminal window and run:

sudo xattr -rc /path/to/filename.app

Such a traffic flood would cause your site to start timing out for some users, as you're seeing. Switching providers might not save you, if that's the case.

An old forum I was a member of (akin to 910cmx.com) has been hugely struggling to cope with sporadic AI indexer traffic lately, for example.

I've never had issues with your site (though I'm in SoCal and your site appears Arizona based, so it rightly should be quick for me.)

Does your site's service provider give traffic insights? Check them over. AI indexers have been causing DDoS-like havoc lately.

When I worked at Radioshack there was a monthly rotation of 2hr muzak DVDs we had to play on all TVs on infinite repeat with sound up.

This Scatman track was one of the enjoyable ones on it that didn't drive me nuts.

(On the disc It was followed by Groove Armada's "At the River", which did.)
