Between the dysfunction at Newark Approach, NJ Transit strikes, Real ID adoption because of an awful DMV (or MVC as NJ calls it), and sinkholes on our interstates… NJ is a transportation disaster and an embarrassment at best

Proud to be a new NJ resident after hearing @booker.senate.gov speak for 25+ hrs. But after 3 DMV visits, each with a new excuse, I still don’t have a Real ID. As a NY resident, it was in and out with digital docs and forms. Now I need a 4th appointment with more paper docs and forms.

At this point, the only way iOS 18 could be worse is if it didn’t make phone calls. I receive notifications for messages that I can see the message and recipient in Notification Center but when I go to the conversation in the Messages app there is nothing there. Even when tapping the notification.

Not so brilliant.
When #Severance came out it was something I could enjoy. I watched it a second time when the Season 2 date was announced. And I watched it a third time over the past week to start it with my wife and she was hooked. Now I can’t watch Season 2 until my wife comes home or else I’ll be in trouble.

Using Apple Watch has been frustrating despite my settings. There’s nothing wrong with what it’s capable of. It’s trying so hard to be a glorified Notification Center that it fails to be… a watch. 90% of the time I look at my watch for the time is spent clearing notifications instead.

Apple Intelligence is quite easily the worst Apple product/service I’ve ever used. It’s fair to say Apple released nothing of value in 2024. I picked up the M4 iPad Pro mainly to downsize my display but I can’t say any new hardware does anything the old hardware couldn’t.

Wanted to play Metal Gear Solid Snake again and I forget that you don’t play that game as much as that game plays you. Cut scenes were so long that my console goes to sleep every time they come up.
