No, this wasn’t possible. You can model it with the forces they had at the time, where they’d stage from, which units etc. Just wasn’t enough. Ru had a massive overwhelming advantage in the south. Plus a modern army fighting on 2 other axes. Very few countries could deal with that.

My recollection as a kid was that silver iodide does work, but it could screw weather patterns/produce unwanted second order effects, so we don’t use it. Plus people don’t like govt manipulating weather, we don’t need it to stop famines etc. Cool tech tho

We have a lot of (good) lit on the Israeli record wrt LOAC and simple domestic policy vis-a-vis the Palestinians. On their use of torture, adventures in Lebanon, so forth. It wasn’t surprising that they would immediately start mass murder in Gaza.
