Perhaps he is overoptimistic. Henry Markram claimed to simulate a whole brain decades ago, yet the claim is still a distant goal. I think one main challenge for realistic simulation at cellular level is perhaps lacking of realistic biophysical prarameters.

Learned a so-called “glucose preconditioning” by talking with chatGPT and Claude. They claimed this is real. I was inspired to perform a quick lysis and ethanol precipitation to check the presence of glycogen. Wait till tomorrow to see if the preconditioning really works. #glucosePreconditioning

What so far I don’t like Bluesky : it doesn’t have bookmarking. Also it would be much better to allow following a topic instead of the people.
