In Oregon - NIH awarded $417 MILLION in grants and contracts during FY2023 that directly supported 5,013 JOBS and $992 MILLION economic activity in Oregon. One of those jobs is me! 🙋🏽♀️ also look at that return on investment almost 2.5x economic activity for every $1 invested. No waste I see!

Looked it up for Oregon - 1,004 active projects funded by NIH over $522 million to advance care for Oregonians. What are our legislators going to do that funding they approved and allocated is frozen to being used?? @wyden.senate.gov @senjeffmerkley.bsky.social @repdexteror.bsky.social
