I'm delighted Laura has driven this momentous effort and am so excited to hear her speak at the event. As someone who often is that token, last minute, diversity invite to a manel, I appreciate the sentiment and there are indeed times for calling this out. But I don't think that's the case here.

That's not what I got from the invite, which I assume is the same as yours. The first line starts with 'My name is Laura Ryan...the lead author of a new report...' and only later mentions a bunch of (yes) male speakers. But the person leading the effort is clearly a woman.
