The leaders of countries not saying anything doesn't surprise me, the USA basically has a license to run riot over the world. The silence from the left wing figures in the UK and other countries is surprisingly though.

Or some of the statues around landmarks in London as well

There is the prompt field for Whisper which should fix that. Try `styx.` the full stop will make it work better

Congrats, on the move! jj looks interesting from the outside, but the lack of LFS support means I can't really consider it yet

Gerrit is just a code review platform, looking at lix it seems they use git. Gerrit is miles ahead of github's PR system for code reviews though from what I can see (and what people who I trust who use it say).

Though the barrier to entry is higher :/

Well on apps there can be such an abundance of people you could always filter on more shallow features first (easy to see), and then get a feeling on more personality driven ones during the conversation after a match

There was a dating app at one point (at least in the UK) where you filtered matches based on career and career goals for workers looking to date likeminded people. Not sure what happened with it but I heard of people (jokingly I hope) suggesting it as a headhunting approach for female engineers...

Methods that allocate and are infallible i.e `Vec::push` probably means there's a lot more

The only C I've done in industry is C89 and same. Aerospace moves slowly 😂

semi "fun" fact, MISRA C only gained support for versions of C beyond C89 in 2012. C99 is probably the pragmatic choice for a mix of compiler support and "modern" niceties. Versions of MISRA which only support C89/C90 are still popular in certain industries though.

Sometimes local libraries or community centres in the UK have introductory lessons. Although it's more Microsoft office and how to use the internet basics from what I understand.

And maybe apologies for tagging him in the post on every platform I put this on 😅

I tried revolut for a similar reason but ended up ditching it in favour of Monzo. Equal uptake in the UK and the revolut app was (at least circa 2019) much worse in terms of design and UX

What's more the police are trying to claim they arrested everyone with a Palestine Action sign, but they definitely didn't. Just the people sitting in Parliament square. Support is larger than they want to admit

I once said to the missus Japanese people's minds would be blown if they got something as usable as Monzo in Japan. Having now learned about pix if they got that blood would shoot out of their noses anime style

wechat was the most egregious, I sent a gif of a dog waving for my first message and then got banned for suspicious behaviour.
