My travels have taken me to Calgary, an absolutely stunning city home to a gigantic hobby store called The Sentry Box, I got a lovely haul from their second hand section!

First day using an airbrush, I got a hell of a lot of priming done and a few base coats, much quicker than I would normally.
It's definitely challenging, making sure it's clean, getting the right paint to medium ratio, constantly being terrified that I've clogged it somehow!
Pretty fun though!

Here is a thread of some unusual materials you may find really helpful for #miniaturepainting #miniatures.
1. Isopropyl alchohol.
You can use this to thin paints and inks down so they run into only the deepest recesses. You can also add bicarb soda to this to make superglue accelerant.

Since @petergronfeldt.bsky.social had the airbrush out yesterday to varnish his BB team, he also varnished these for me, so now I’m only missing one ship and one auxiliary before finishing the WHOLE Dreadfleet box 😁
